100% organic coffee and always Fair Trade

Organic and Fair Trade

Supporting positive attributes of our coffee growers’ work environments is very important to us.

Reduction in workers’ exposure to hazardous pesticides and ensuring that the lands used for growing also benefit from responsible farming practices are standards for us.  By supporting these growers, we not only make a direct impact, but we show others that if they grow responsiblity there is a market for their products.  Every purchase matters.

Fair Trade goods mean quality products, improved lives, and protection of the environment.  Fair Trade standards focus on ensuring farmers and workers get a fair deal, that funds go back to the community, and that environmental measures are being taken.  These standards ensure things that are important to us, such as non-GMO ingredients and no child labor.

Fully recyclable packaging

Recycle

Glass is one of the few materials that can be recycled infinitely without loosing strength, purity, or quality.  We encourage you to recycle!

Our shipping packaging can also be recycled.  Our shipping partners have longstanding sustainability programs: UPS and USPS sustainability.

Bottles made in the United States

American Made

Our bottles are manufactured in the U.S.  We hope America’s manufacturing industry continues to grow to support good jobs throughout the US.

Paper-free workplace

Reducing

We do our best to eliminate all forms of printing.  Why?  The average American consumes 5 1/2 fourty foot tall trees worth of paper per year.  We prefer the trees.

It’s also been a big relief.  Nothing stacking up.  Nothing to transport from one place to another.  We’ve found some great online management tools to keep Junius running smooth – as smooth as our cold brew.

Wind-powered facilities through energy credits

Clean Energy

Renewable energy – the best kind of energy.  The wind industry supports more than 75,000 jobs in the U.S.
